"eboot OSV" is primarily a network boot system, but it can utilize the HDD within the PC in various ways. 1. Not using the HDD Clients connect to the server via the network and boot while downloading Windows for clients from the server. 2. Used as a cache area Data read from the server is retained in the HDD, and that portion is not read from the server again, reducing network load. 3. Copy all data from the server to the HDD.
